How to Use MSI Kombustor

After installing MSI Kombustor, launch the application from your desktop or Start Menu. You will see a dashboard showing your GPU information including model, driver version, and current temperature. To start a stress test:

  1. Select your preferred test mode (GL Fur Rendering, Vulkan Burning, or PhysX)
  2. Choose between fullscreen or windowed mode and set your desired resolution
  3. Click the “Start stress test” button to begin
  4. Monitor GPU temperature, FPS, and load in real-time during the test
  5. Run the test for 30 minutes to 2 hours for a thorough stability check

For best results, use MSI Kombustor alongside MSI Afterburner to monitor detailed GPU metrics while the stress test is running. If your system remains stable without crashes, artifacts, or overheating, your GPU is in good health.
